MIS Welcomes New Teachers

MIS has several new additions to our teaching staff for the 2016-2017 school year.  We are so excited to welcome these dedicated educators to our little family!  Our new additions include Krystal Miller (K/1), Krystle McCaskill (K/1), Courtney Williams (2/3), Harold Finch (PE/History), and Rosa Mims (Special Ed).

Hi!  I'm Krystal Miller.  I graduated from  the University of West Alabama in 2009 where I earned my dual Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am currently working towards my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked in both Mississippi and Alabama. This is my fifth year teaching. I am more than ecstatic to have the opportunity to serve this community as Kindergarten and First grade teacher.

Hello!  I'm Courtney Williams.  I graduated from the University of West Alabama with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education.  This is my fifth year teaching.  I am so excited to work with the 2nd and 3rd grades, and I look forward to a great year!

My name is Harold Finch.  I have such a great passion for teaching!  I am a graduate of the University of South Alabama.  I began teaching at J. F. Shields.  I live in Beatrice with my wife, Christy.  We are the proud parents of two children who have given us four beautiful grandchildren.  I look forward to a great year at MIS!  Go Bulldogs!!

My name is Rosa Mims, and I'm the new Special Ed teacher for MIS.  I graduated from the University of Alabama, and this is my seventh year teaching.  I am so excited to work with the awesome students and faculty at MIS!  I am passionate about helping learners overcome obstacles and be successful in the classroom.  I look forward to a great year!  Go Bulldogs!
